Tis So Sweet

This is my inspirational card for the day. Both images are from my basket of images (did I tell you it was a pretty large basket). When I use my top note die I save the negative and use it for framing other images which is what I did here. I used some stickles to add a little sparkle and some vellum scraps for the scallop border that I attached with a pop dot. I'm not sure the card is quite done, but not sure what to add - any suggestions?

Another one of my resolutions for this year was to make more cards for our military men and women. This card is one I'm going to make several of to send to my daughter to give to fellow members of her MP company. And lastly......
I want to have more thinking of you/pick me up cards on hand as I never seem to have enough. I just love this quote and the pink/brown color combo so I put the them together and came up with this card.

Now I am off to look at the challenges that have been posted and see what I can come up with to post tomorrow. I hope you are all staying warm and having a blessed day!

  1. Fantastic cards Cindy, you have been busy :)

  2. I love your cards- very pretty! I love the idea of the Top Note Die to frame other cards. Bless you for sending cards to the soldiers!

  3. I like them all and I wouldn't add a thing to the 1st one. It is gorgeous just as it is.

  4. Great pick me up card. Pink and brown are one of my favorite color combos. Sentiment is super also.

  5. They all look great. So kind of you to send cards to the soldiers.
