Red, White and Blue

I received this Crafters Wood Oval from a very good friend of mine and decided to get it out today and see what I could put together. One of the projects on my "To Do" list was to make a red, white and blue item for a swap I'm in. I colored the wood block with markers, then sanded it down a little. Next I colored these cute little bugs and applied some stickles so they would sparkle. I then use my Top Note Die to cut out the image and sponged the edges. And to finish it off I added the ribbon and stars. I must say I like the finished project, but with only one item crossed off my "To Do" list I guess I better get back to crafting.

Sketch card

This is for another swap on my group.  This time it was a sketch card.  Since this has Dad on it, I think it would qualify for the challenge over at http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.com/ and also   http://www.simonsaysstampschallenge.blogspot.com/ wants Father's Day/ Male card.  http://forfunchallenges.blogspot.com/ wants a man card.

Mystery Die

I received this #4 die and had to make something with it for a swap I am in. Coming up with something was very difficult.  I came up with the idea of this box.  I will fill it with candy or something before I mail it.  Over at http://onestitchatatimechallenge.blogspot.com/ the challenge that ends tonight is something new, so I  am entering this into the challenge at OSAAT as the die cut is new.
